As a part of the advocacy mission of the HBA of Greater Springfield, HBA leadership regularly seeks opportunities to meet and engage with leading candidates for key elected positions in local, state, and federal government. Last week, representatives of the HBA of Greater Springfield board of directors and advocacy committees met for about an hour at the HBA of Greater Springfield board room with Dave Spence, republican candidate for Missouri Governor.
In the meeting, Spence emphasized his campaign priorities of empowering small business owners to expand and grow their businesses through greater tax and regulatory flexibility and working toward stronger reforms of Missouri’s litigation process.
