Giving something back to the community was our focus this year – and we managed to do that by bagging 16,620 meals to give to hungry children!  There was so much enthusiasm and hard work during our hour of volunteering. This project got others thinking and saying “we need to do this type of thing more often.”  So be on the watch for what the new year will bring as we can give back to the community!

He built his first house in Belton, MO in 1970, built part time the next year and started full time in 1971. After a few years in the K.C. area, Ron and his wife Janet moved back to the Springfield area in 1975. He built in several areas in the Springfield market; Lakewood, Ravenwood South, Walnut Lawn, National Place, Iron Bridge. He also developed a subdivision in Ozark (Wood Ridge), along with many apartments and condos in the area. Ron joined the HBA in 1975 and was HBA President from 1980-81. He built his last home 9 years ago and like most builders they still have building in their blood, so he found a lot and built another one last year. Now Ron spends a lot of his time volunteering his time and talents on building mission trips.

Congratulations to this years award winners and inductee!  Your hard work and association dedication is deeply appreciated.
